The idea of \u200b\u200bthe project has been on my mind for a long time, but it didn\u2019t want to mature. Various life circumstances and a lack of courage and time held it back. Now that life is supposed to get back on track, I decided to bench the “what if !?” scenarios and give the idea a chance to come to life. I must admit, the first feedback positively surprised me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this project I want each purchase to aim towards more goals. I want to encourage people to do little good deeds and allow them to help someone by purchasing something here at Galgina. At the same time, I want to gain the value of handcrafted work, as it seems to have been lost. Since I like to sew small items, tiny pouches for my “soul”, I decided to collect them in one place and let them find a way to like-minded people. I know that, unlike the rest of Galgina\u2019s offer, they aren\u2019t related to sighthounds, but in a way that makes even more sense. They are made with the same amount of care and love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each purchase is therefore charitable and a part of the income (profit) will be donated to the Slovenian Sighthound World<\/a> Association. I have been following the association for many years and I am happy to help them as much as I can. Their heartfelt efforts in welfare and changing the situation of abandoned and exploited greyhounds enjoy my support. Together we will help cover the costs of various activities of the association, such as sighthound transportation, general and veterinary expeditions of volunteers to shelters in Spain and Ireland, temporary accommodation of sighthounds that don’t tolerate life in a shelter, projects aimed at raising public awareness and finding responsible homes for sighthounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No one can help everyone, but everyone can help someone (- Ronald Reagan). Every, even seemingly small contribution is a very, very appreciated and extremely important step towards making a better life for sighthounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
