We will start using new connecting sliders when making 5 cm wide martingale and non-tightening collars.<\/strong> The comparison of the old and new versions is shown in the photos above. In both photos, the new slider is on the right-hand side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the new hardware like?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The new hardware is similar in shape to the old one and is nickel-plated as well, but the new connecting sliders are less bulky, somewhat thinner, and lighter. We believe they will be more suitable for whippets and small greyhounds, as the old sliders were quite robust for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When will the change happen?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We will likely start using the new connecting sliders in August 2024, possibly even sooner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The older hardware is increasingly difficult to obtain, and recently the price-to-quality ratio has become so poor that it is no longer acceptable for us, as we have to discard more and more sliders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
