Care instructions

Because our dog products are made of textiles, it is expected they will get somewhat dirty over time. Following these care instructions will help maintain their durability and appearance while contribute to your dog’s comfort and safety.

For products that are easy to maintain (products made of softshell and water-repellent materials), we recommend regular spot cleaning with a wet cloth or under running lukewarm water. This way, you’ll need to wash the entire product with cleaning agents less often.

Before washing

  • Remove GPS trackers, tags, and other accessories from the products.
  • Carefully remove loose dirt.

Washing collars, harnesses, and leashes

  • Collars, harnesses, leashes, and cases can be washed in a front-loading washing machine.
  • Close the products in laundry bags for delicate items.
  • Choose a normal program with a temperature of up to 30 degrees Celsius.
  • Use a mild/regular laundry detergent.
  • Wash with similar colors.
  • Wash special occasion collars by hand with a mild detergent and lukewarm water, or in the washing machine with a delicate laundry program.
  • After hand washing, dry the products with a towel, but do not wring them.

Drying

  • Before reuse, air-dry the products in the shade on a flat surface.
  • Do not dry the products in a dryer or in direct sunlight.

Do not use

  • Do not use aggressive cleaners, stain removers, and bleach for cleaning.
  • Do not use fabric softener.
  • Do not use rough brushes, rough, or even wire sponges.
  • Do not use a high-pressure cleaner.
  • Avoid prolonged soaking and scrubbing of the products.
  • Do not iron the products.

Regular inspection

  • Regularly check metal parts for signs of rust or corrosion.
  • Wipe metal parts with a dry cloth and apply a small amount of pet-safe lubricant as needed.
  • Regularly inspect if the products show wear and tear, and remove any “pills” or loose threads.
  • Stop using the products if you notice any damage to ensure your dog’s safety.

Storage

  • Store the products in a cool and dry place when not in use.
  • Do not leave the products in the sun, rain, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
