Matte black hardware
We want to introduce you to new hardware for dog collars with a matte black finish. With this version, dog collars and leashes can quickly become even more sleek, refined, and modern. Perhaps you’ll be drawn to its subtle look when combined with dark fabrics, or maybe you’ll choose it simply because you want a bit of change and enhancement in your dog’s wardrobe. Certainly, it will be most welcomed by those caretakers who themselves, or even their dogs, suffer from a nickel allergy.
Options
Matte black hardware is currently available for the following products:
- martingale collars 5 cm, 3,8 cm, 2,5 cm
- non-tightening collars 5 cm, 3,8 cm, 2,5 cm
- puppy collars
- simple leashes 2 cm, 2,5 cm
- multipurpose leashes 2 cm, 2,5 cm
Material
The base of welded D-rings and size-adjusting sliders is steel, while the base of connecting sliders is a zinc alloy. The matte black surface finish is achieved through electrophoretic painting. The hardware does not contain nickel.
Wear and Tear
Wear of the black color layer on the hardware is expected and normal. Handle the product carefully and cautiously to ensure it remains beautiful and functional for as long as possible. The hardware is not corrosion-resistant.
Attach identification tags and other accessories to the collar with a sufficiently large carabiner, thin lanyard for keychain charms, or beaded chain. We do not recommend attaching with spiral/split key rings, as they scratch metal.
Stock
Whether matte black hardware will remain in our regular offer is yet to be decided. Initially, we will adjust the stock according to demand. If demand is sufficient, we will add black hardware to our regular offer and expand the options to other products. Occasionally, the stock may run out, resulting in longer lead times for products with black hardware.

According to the current price list, products with black hardware come with an additional charge. If you wish to order a collar with black hardware, please indicate this in your order along with other mandatory details.
