Long softshell leash

Details

The long softshell leash is the longest model in our range, measuring 3 meters. It is made from a flat nylon strap wrapped in softshell fabric, which is a durable, water-repellent, easy to maintain, and quick-drying material. The leash is soft, smooth, and has a cushioned feel. Due to the rounded edges that do not cut into the hands, it is comfortable to handle. The leash features an embroidered seam along the middle of the strap, which gives it a matching look with the harnesses.

Usage

With a bit of practice, the 3-meter walking leash is manageable for most guardians while providing the dog with considerable freedom to move and communicate. The guardian should always hold the leash, as it is not intended to be dragged on the ground behind the dog, as is common with longer (tracking) leashes.

Shape options

Leash with one snap hook
This leash has one snap hook that attaches to the collar. The other end of the leash features a handle with a D-ring for attaching accessories. The length of this shape is not adjustable.

Leash with two snap hooks
This leash has a snap hook and a D-ring sewn onto each end. One snap hook attaches to the gear a dog is wearing, while the other can be clipped to one of the two D-rings to create a handle. This allows you to adjust the length to either 3 meters or approximately 1,65 meters.
The leash can also be used to walk two dogs, or for added security by attaching one snap hoop to the collar and the other to the harness.

Strap width and snap hooks

We can make long softshell leashes in two widths:

2 cm
Equipped with smaller snap hooks (measuring 6,5 cm x 2 cm) that are lighter and suitable for small dogs and puppies of smaller sighthound breeds. Narrower leashes are also chosen by guardians who prefer minimalist equipment or those with particularly easygoing dogs.

2,5 cm
Equipped with larger snap hooks (measuring 8,5 cm x 2,5 cm) that are slightly heavier and stronger, making them suitable for medium and large dogs. Wider leashes are preferred by guardians with more demanding dogs or those whose wider strap provides better grip.
