Multipurpose leash

Details:

The multipurpose leash has two snap hooks one on each side of the strap. Attach one snap hook – the one that has a D-ring near it to the dog’s collar, and the other to one of the rings on the strap to adjust the length of the leash and create a handle. You can choose between three lengths, the longest being 2 m long (we have elongated it slightly and now it measures 2 m with an already shaped, fastened handle) and the shortest 1,20 m. The length of the leash is measured without snap hooks.

A multipurpose leash can be used in many different ways: you can hold it in your hands like an ordinary leash, you can clip it over your shoulder so your hands are free, you can use it for a temporary tie-out (around a table in a cafe for example), you can lead two dogs with one leash at the same time or you can use two attachment points on one dog (attach one of the snap hooks to the collar and the other to the harness).

Width

The multipurpose leash is available in widths:

• 2 cm
• 2,5 cm

Due to the different thicknesses of the fabrics, the final width can deviate by app. 1 mm.

Snap hooks

Usually, we are using snap hooks in smaller size 6,5 cm x 2 cm for narrow leash and in bigger size 8,5 cm x 2,5 cm for the wider leash. If you prefer, it’s s also possible to make a narrower leash with large size snap hooks (these are also stronger but heavier), but unfortunately, we cannot use smaller snap hooks with a wider leash.

Different fabric options

We offer leashes made from different fabrics: twill and softshell. Sometimes leashes can be made from the same type of fabric as the collars as well (the price is the same for all types of fabric). If you’re deciding on a matching leash, check the availability in the description of the design before ordering.

• Leashes made of twill

First among the options is strong, durable, monochrome twill fabric (on photos above). This fabric is a blend of cotton and polyester and has a significant ribbed weave. Leashes from twill fabric are thin and soft. Monochrome twill leashes are (while stock lasts) available in these colors:

• Leashes made of softshell

The second option is polyester softshell fabric. Leashes made of softshell are somewhat more sturdy, compact but smooth, soft, and of a cushiony feel with pleasant, rounded edges. They are easy to maintain and are fast drying. In the middle of the leash (along the whole length) there is an embroidered stitch. Monochrome softshell leashes are (while stock lasts) available in these colors:

• Leashes that match the collars

If possible, leashes can be made from the same fabric as collars also. However, since the choice of collar fabrics (designs) is primarily designed for collars, leashes of the same fabrics are not always available. Details on whether a particular material is available for making a leash can be found in the description of each collar design.
