Simple leash
Details
The Simple leash is the shortest model in our offer, measuring 1,2 meters. It is made from a flat, fabric-wrapped nylon strap, which is shaped into a larger handle at the end.
Usage
The leash has one snap hook, which is clipped to the gear the dog is wearing. The handle, which you hold in your hand, features a D-ring where you can attach various accessories or fasten the leash around your body when not in use. Since it doesn’t take up much space, guardians often store it in their pocket.
A dog attached to a single leash stays close to the guardian, which is most often required by traditional dog training schools, walks in areas with many distractions, or other tasks where using longer leashes might be impractical (loading into a car, visiting the veterinarian, etc.).
Strap width and snap hooks
The simple leash is available in two widths:
- 2 cm
Has a smaller snap hook (measuring 6,5 cm x 2 cm), that is lighter and suitable for small dogs and puppies of smaller sighthound breeds. It is also chosen by guardians who prefer minimalist equipment and those who walk exceptionally undemanding dogs.
- 2,5 cm
Has a larger snap hook (measuring 8.5 cm x 2.5 cm), that is somewhat heavier and stronger, suitable for medium-sized and large-sized dogs. The wider leash is also chosen by guardians with more demanding dogs or those whose wider strap provides a better grip.
Due to fabric thickness variations, the final width of the strap may deviate by approximately 1 mm.
Different fabric options
Leashes can be made from softshell (100% polyester), or in some cases, even the same fabric as the collar. If you are considering a leash that matches the collar, please check the design description first to see if this option is available.
- Leashes made of softshell
Softshell leashes are somewhat sturdy and more compact yet soft, smooth, pleasant, and cushiony with nicely rounded edges. They are easy to maintain and dry quickly. They feature an embroidered seam along the middle of the strap, which makes them perfectly match in appearance with our harnesses.

- Leashes that match the collars
Many fabrics and designs primarily intended for making collars can also be used to make leashes. This way, you can create a set of products that are completely consistent in appearance and properties or choose the same material in different patterns according to your taste. Details about whether a particular design is available for leash-making can be found in the description of the individual collar design, that’s why they are not shown here.
